In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and give full play to the leading role of party organizations in the construction of the legal education practice base platform, on the afternoon of December 4, 2023, the First Party Branch of the General Party Branch of Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm and the First, Second, and Third Party Branches of the undergraduate students of the Law School of Guangxi University jointly carried out the theme party day activity of "Promoting the Spirit of the Constitution and Promoting the Rule of Law".

The event was held in the reading room on the first floor of the Law School of Guangxi University. Wei Xingjian, member of the Party Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Law School of Guangxi University, Chen Kunru, Secretary of the First Party Branch of the undergraduate students of the Law School of Guangxi University, Song Luyao, Deputy Secretary of the Second Party Branch, Chen Yingjiao, Deputy Secretary of the Third Party Branch, and 27 party members from each branch participated in the event; Xiong Wei, Secretary of the First Party Branch of Tongwang Law Firm, Liang Yungan, Meng Hu, Huang Xuni, Wu Jinling, and Huang Weilun, member of the General Party Branch and Director of the Youth Committee of the Law Firm, participated in the event. The event was presided over by Chen Yingjiao, Deputy Secretary of the Third Party Branch of the undergraduate students of the Law School of Guangxi University.

At the beginning of the event, Xiong Wei, Secretary of the First Party Branch of Tongwang Law Firm, gave a special party lecture to the participating party members: "On the Practice of Cultivating a Team of Outstanding Reserve Talents for Lawyers with Both Morality and Ability - Taking the Cultivation of New Lawyers' Professional Skills and Deepening the Construction of Legal Students' Education Practice Base as the Perspective", leading the study of the relevant spirit of the rule of law in the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech on "Adhering to the Construction of a High-Quality Rule of Law Work Team with Both Morality and Ability", and combined with the work of lawyers and the development prospects of the lawyer industry, he suggested how undergraduate students of the Law School should make good use of the legal education practice base to strengthen their personal employment quality and ability.

Then, Song Luyao, Yang Hai and other undergraduate student party members of the Law School of Guangxi University shared their internship experiences respectively, and the participating party members had in-depth exchanges on the content of their internship work, internship feelings, the impact of internship experience on future career planning, and the confusion encountered in the internship.

In the on-site Q&A session, the participating student party members put forward their ideas on the career of lawyers and the guidance that lawyers need to provide for their studies and employment. The participating lawyer party members answered them one by one based on their own learning experience and work experience, and dispelled doubts for the participating student party members.

Finally, Chen Kunru, Secretary of the First Party Branch of the Law School of Guangxi University, made a concluding speech on this activity, and gave a high affirmation to this theme party day activity on behalf of the undergraduate student party organization of the college, hoping that the party organizations of both sides would further play a political leading role, guide the students of the Law School to make good use of the "Education Practice Base" for cultivating legal talents, promote thinking through learning, promote action through learning, and strive to be legal persons with core awareness, political literacy, and legal thinking.

On June 19, 2009, Professor Meng Qinguo, a famous civil law expert, and Yan Liping, the then Secretary-General of the Guangxi Lawyers Association, jointly unveiled the "Guangxi University Law Education Practice Base" at Tongwang Law Firm. Over the past 14 years since the construction and operation of the base, the Law School of Guangxi University has successively input countless interns into Tongwang Law Firm, and many law school students who interned at Tongwang Law Firm have successively grown into practicing lawyers. The construction of the base has provided a good platform for the sustainable and high-quality development of the joint construction of the institute and the college.
