Guangxi Tongwang Institute of Applied Jurisprudence

Guangxi Tongwang Applied Jurisprudence Research Institute was initiated by Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm, relying on Wuhan University Law School, Guangxi University Law School, Guangxi Normal University Law School and other well-known universities inside and outside the region. It was established in January 2016 with the approval of the Department of Justice and the Department of Civil Affairs of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is the first and currently the only private applied jurisprudence research institute with independent legal personality in the country. In July 2018, Tongwang Research Institute became a formal member of the "Guangxi Characteristic New Think Tank Alliance" led by the Policy Research Office of the Autonomous Region Party Committee and the Development Research Center of the Autonomous Region Government. In June 2020, the United Front Work Department of the Nanning Municipal Party Committee established a united front theory research base in Tongwang Research Institute.

Guangxi Local Legislation Research Evaluation and Consulting Service Tongwang Institute Base was approved by the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in May 2018. It is a specialized institution engaged in local legislation research, evaluation and consulting services. It is the first local legislation research evaluation and consulting service base established by a provincial people's congress in a law firm in China. In October 2020, the Standing Committee of the Nanning Municipal People's Congress approved the establishment of the Nanning Municipal Local Legislation Research Evaluation and Consulting Service Tongwang Institute Base.
