27th Anniversary Series of Celebrations | Bidding Business Ability Competition for the Engagement of Corporate Legal Counsel Successfully Held

On the occasion of Tongwang's 27th anniversary, on November 11, 2023, a unique bidding competition for the annual legal counsel business ability was successfully held in the Tongwang Law School Lecture Hall in Nanning. All employees watched the live roadshow of the competition simultaneously online and offline.
This competition takes the selection of annual legal counsel for a state-owned company as the background, and each business department as the participating unit. It is divided into two stages. The first stage is Competition for the production of annual legal counsel service tender documents , that is, each participating team prepares a formal tender document within the specified time in accordance with the requirements of the "Annual Legal Counsel Service Bidding Announcement", which is uniformly reviewed by the review committee composed of senior lawyers. The second stage is On-site competition of statement ability and effect , that is, the participating teams make roadshow presentations based on the content of the submitted bid documents, combined with PPT.
Huang Qiangguang, director of the law firm, deputy directors Huang Wenxin, Chen Shanrong, Huang Jianjun, He Shumin, Mo Liangzhi, Wu Jing, and Cheng Mei, director of the customer service center, served as the roadshow judges for this competition.
At the roadshow site, 20 participating teams drew lots to appear in turn, and simulated actual combat in strict accordance with the real bidding site. They successively sent team intern lawyers or lawyers with the shortest years of practice as presenters, displayed and lectured on carefully produced PPT works based on the basic content of the bid documents, and then the team leader gave a speech on the thinking of this bid, the relevant tools used in the process of preparing the tender documents, and the bidding strategy. Every player went all out, showing their talents, and the atmosphere of the competition was strong and wonderful.
Director Huang Qiangguang made a summary and comments, and gave a special lecture on "How to do a good job in bidding". He first pointed out that legal service bidding is one of the normal channels for the source of business of law firms, and in public bidding activities, a high-quality tender document is the best visual display of the comprehensive strength of the law firm. The firm held this bidding business ability competition on the occasion of its 27th anniversary, aiming to promote training through competition and establish the firm through training, and comprehensively hone the professional skills of all lawyers. He emphasized that it is the basis to give targeted service plans that meet customer needs, and it is especially important to tell the Tongwang story well during the presentation, which on the one hand plays the role of introducing the law firm to customers, and on the other hand helps our new lawyers understand the law firm culture and enhance the sense of identity, belonging and cohesion of all employees.
After fierce competition, the judges finally decided to select the teams that won the comprehensive award for bidding business ability competition, the award for the ability and quality competition for the production of annual legal counsel service tender documents, and the award for the statement ability and effect competition. At the award ceremony, members of the Management Committee presented honorary certificates to the winning teams and took a group photo.
