On the morning of November 1, 2023, Zhang Bo and Chen Mei from the Law School of Wuzhou University led five intern students to Guangxi Tongwang (Wuzhou) Law Firm to hold a meeting to discuss cooperation between the university and the local community. This initiative aims to further promote the in-depth development of cooperation between the university and the local community, realize the deep integration of legal education resources and public legal service resources, and help cultivate legal talents in Wuzhou City. Five students from the Law School of Wuzhou University will intern at Guangxi Tongwang (Wuzhou) Law Firm for two months.
At the symposium, Tongwang lawyers first expressed a warm welcome to the teachers and students of the college and thanked Wuzhou University for its trust in Tongwang (Wuzhou). Then, they introduced the personnel in the firm, as well as the basic situation of the firm's management and three-dimensional construction. They encouraged the students to seize this internship opportunity, actively combine their knowledge with practice, constantly improve themselves, and lay a good foundation for returning to school and entering society in the future.
Afterwards, the teachers and students of the college visited the law firm to learn about the culture and Party building of the law firm. The students said that they would cherish this valuable internship opportunity, strictly demand themselves, abide by the rules and regulations of the firm, apply the knowledge and skills learned in the school to practical work, and strive to improve their comprehensive quality.
As a continuing education and training base for lawyers in the region and a teaching and scientific research practice base for Wuzhou University, Guangxi Tongwang (Wuzhou) Law Firm has received 38 college students for practical legal work since its establishment, with 3 obtaining professional qualifications. The internship base provides students with a legal practice platform, increases practical legal experience, creates more employment opportunities, and supports Wuzhou University in cultivating legal talents. This effectively enhances cooperation and exchange between the university and the local community, and continuously promotes the development of the rule of law in Wuzhou.
