May 21, 2023, is the 33rd National Day for Helping the Disabled. To widely mobilize all sectors of society, so that more and more people with disabilities can receive better education, achieve better employment, and receive better protection, and that more and more fields have people with disabilities. On the morning of May 18, the Qinzhou Disabled Persons Federation organized several units to carry out the theme activity of "Helping the Disabled in Guangxi" in Bancheng Town, and jointly with Guangxi Tongwang (Qinzhou) Law Firm to carry out legal services for the disabled. Tongwang lawyers provided on-site legal education and one-on-one Q&A sessions to improve the disabled's awareness of relevant laws, regulations, and policies and their ability to protect their rights, providing a blue sky for the legitimate rights and interests of the disabled.
Tongwang lawyers also provided free legal consultation to the public, answered questions of general concern to the people on the spot, explained the legal knowledge of safeguarding the rights and interests of the disabled for the disabled who have financial difficulties or other reasons that require legal aid or judicial assistance, and gave detailed explanations on the labor rights of the disabled and the specific provisions for the protection of the rights of the disabled. Through detailed answers, the public had a clear understanding of the handling procedures and how to protect their rights, and the distribution of relevant materials to the public to take back and read made the people more satisfied and praised them repeatedly. In addition, on-site answers were given to legal consultations on social security, special security, labor employment, marriage and family, etc. raised by the public.
