On the evening of May 15, Huang Jianjun, director and Party branch secretary of Guangxi Tongwang (Wuzhou) Law Firm, was invited to give a lecture on the practical course of 'Application of Criminal Procedure Law in Judicial Practice—Defense Counsel's Perspective' to students of the School of Law of Wuzhou University.
With humorous language, Huang Jianjun gave an easy-to-understand explanation of 'Why Confession is the King of Evidence,' 'Characteristics of Confession,' 'Key Points for Reviewing Confession,' and 'Common Situations of Confession and How Defense Counsel Should Review and Respond.' He also conducted a detailed analysis of classic criminal cases related to confession review practice through question introduction, which benefited the students present greatly.
Based on his 15 years of practical experience in handling criminal cases, Huang Jianjun shared his experience and insights with the students on the reasons for the high degree of similarity or repetition of confessions and how to respond, and how to review and analyze confessions from the perspective of rationality, so that law students have a comprehensive and systematic understanding of the essence and specific methods of confession review practice.
