On June 30, 2021, the "Civil Code Enters Enterprises" event was held at the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park Management Committee Building to give full play to the advantages of the Civil Code in protecting the private economy, help private enterprises effectively prevent and resolve legal risks, further promote the construction of a law-based business environment, and promote the high-quality economic development of the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park. This event was sponsored by the Qinzhou Municipal Bureau of Justice, the Qinzhou Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, the Qinzhou Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources, the Qinzhou Municipal Bar Association, and the Industrial and High-Tech Industry Bureau of the Qinzhou Port Area of the Free Trade Zone, and co-organized by the Qinzhou Port Area Judicial Office. Representatives from the Municipal Bureau of Justice, the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources, the Municipal Bar Association, the Industrial and High-Tech Industry Bureau of the Qinzhou Port Area of the Free Trade Zone, and more than 50 senior executives and legal personnel from various enterprises in the Free Trade Zone attended the meeting. As a legal expert, Chen Yi, vice president of the Qinzhou Municipal Bar Association and deputy director of Tongwang (Qinzhou) Law Firm, was invited to participate in this event.
At the meeting, lawyer Chen Yi gave a central speech on "The Impact and Response of the Civil Code on Enterprise Operation". Lawyer Chen Yi selected and interpreted the new rules in the Civil Code that are closely related to enterprise operation, emphasized the significant impact of the new rules of the Civil Code on enterprise operation, and focused on the relevant basic principles of the Civil Code, contract conclusion rules, contract performance and termination, standard terms, evidence preservation, company guarantee, and labor and personnel management: combined with specific cases, she explained in simple terms and analyzed the significant impact of the relevant new rules on enterprise operation from multiple perspectives and levels, and put forward specific suggestions on how enterprises should more effectively strengthen management and minimize legal risks on relevant issues. The participants unanimously agreed that lawyer Chen Yi's speech covered a wealth of information, thorough theoretical explanation, specific and relevant cases, and fully related to the actual situation of enterprises, and was highly targeted, guiding and practical for enterprises to operate in accordance with the law.
