On the afternoon of June 28, 2021, Chen Zhen, Deputy Director of Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm and Deputy Director of the Criminal Department, was invited by the Coastal Expressway Branch of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Investment Group Co., Ltd. to give a lecture on the theme of "The Impact of the New Law on Enterprise Safety Production and Operation" for the middle and senior leaders of the branch. This lecture was also the first legal knowledge training lecture of Beibu Gulf Coastal Expressway Branch in 2021. More than 50 leaders and heads of various departments of the branch attended the training.
Lawyer Chen Zhen first gave a detailed interpretation of the background, main content and highlights of the revision of the "Safety Production Law", the safety production guarantee of production and operation units, the rights and obligations of employees in safety production, and legal responsibilities. During the process, accident cases were interspersed, cases were discussed according to law, and the law was explained through cases. Subsequently, Chen Zhen focused on interpreting the newly added and revised articles and contents of the "Criminal Law Amendment (XI)" on enterprise safety production, and comprehensively analyzed the top ten criminal legal risk points in enterprise safety production in combination with typical cases, and put forward practical and feasible preventive measures for enterprise safety production legal risks. Finally, Chen Zhen also introduced the pilot work of the corporate compliance non-prosecution system reform. Chen Zhen said that in order to prevent enterprises from facing criminal legal risks, it is particularly important to build a corporate criminal compliance system, and corporate criminal compliance is an indispensable and important part of corporate compliance management.
Huang Xianzhu, Deputy General Manager and Chief Legal Counsel of Beibu Gulf Investment Group Coastal Expressway Branch, emphasized that mastering legal knowledge is of great significance for fully implementing the work of administering enterprises according to law, and put forward three requirements for the branch's employees: First, we must fully understand the importance of learning and using the law, and improve legal awareness and legal knowledge level; second, we must always "respect, abide by, and use the law" in production and operation work and social activities; third, we must correctly handle the relationship between safety and law, and effectively promote the implementation of safety production work. Through this lecture, not only the awareness of compliant production management of various departments and personnel has been improved, but also new impetus has been injected into the rapid and efficient development of the enterprise.
