The Legal Work Committee of the Standing Committee of the Guangxi Autonomous Region People's Congress sent a letter to Guangxi Tongwang Applied Legal Research Institute to solicit opinions on the "Criminal Procedure Law of the People's Republic of China (Draft Amendment)". Guangxi Tongwang Applied Legal Research Institute and Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm jointly held a special seminar on "Amendment of the Criminal Procedure Law and Lawyer Defense" and submitted the amendments of this meeting to the Legal Work Committee of the Standing Committee of the Guangxi Autonomous Region People's Congress.
Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm was approved to be newly added as a Guangxi local legislative research, evaluation and consulting service base, which is the first local legislative research, evaluation and consulting service base established by a provincial-level people's congress in a law firm in China.
