National Constitution Day is a festival established on December 4th every year to enhance the constitutional awareness of the whole society, promote the constitutional spirit, strengthen the implementation of the Constitution, and comprehensively promote the rule of law. The Constitution is the fundamental law of the country, the general charter for governing the country and keeping it stable, and the concentrated embodiment of the will of the Party and the people. On November 1, 2014, the 11th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 12th National People's Congress voted to pass a decision to set December 4 as "National Constitution Day" for the first time.
December 4, 2023, is the tenth National Constitution Day in China. In order to implement the theme of the Constitution Publicity Week, "Vigorously promote the spirit of the Constitution and build a socialist rule of law culture", on the Constitution Day, lawyers from Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm and its branches actively participated in the Constitution publicity activities in Nanning, Liuzhou, Qinzhou, and Wuzhou.
Nanning Office
Lawyers Yang Xiaotang, Su Yujun, Lan Xiaolei, and Quan Ruolan from Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm participated in the "12·4 National Constitution Day" theme publicity event organized by the Autonomous Region Party Committee, the People's Congress, and the Department of Justice at the Nanning National Square.
In front of the legal consulting desk, the lawyers patiently answered various legal questions from the public, popularized constitutional and legal knowledge, and distributed legal publicity materials and gifts to the public.
Liuzhou Office

Qinzhou Office
The Party branch of Guangxi Tongwang (Qinzhou) Law Firm organized lawyers to participate in the launching ceremony of the 2023 Qinzhou "Constitution Publicity Week" event at Qinzhou Bay Square.
At the event site, lawyers Mo Bolong, Mo Zhengyu, Zhang Jielin, and Qu Qiongfang distributed legal publicity materials such as the "Civil Code of the People's Republic of China" and the "Pinglu Canal Legal Publicity Manual" to the public and provided free legal consultation to the public.
Wuzhou Office
Guangxi Tongwang (Wuzhou) Law Firm, together with a number of co-construction units, carried out Constitution Day and "Civil Code" law-into-campus legal publicity and education activities at Wuzhou Factory Road Primary School.
During the event, intern lawyer Huang Jianfeng explained the main content and significance of the Civil Code to the students in front of the legal publicity booth, giving the students a deeper understanding of the Civil Code.
In order to encourage students to study, abide by, and use the law, Tongwang (Wuzhou) donated 700 pieces of school supplies to Wuzhou Factory Road Primary School as small gifts for this legal garden party. The students actively participated in legal small games at the garden party, checked in to get stamps in exchange for small gifts, and learned obscure legal knowledge in the games.
This Constitution publicity activity has improved the public's understanding of the Constitution and laws, mobilized the public's awareness and enthusiasm for studying the Constitution, and created a strong atmosphere of respecting, studying, observing, safeguarding, and applying the Constitution. Tongwang lawyers will take the opportunity of this National Constitution Publicity Day to continue to carry out all-round and multi-angle Constitution publicity activities in future work, actively participate in public welfare legal services, promote the spirit of the Constitution into the daily life of the masses, and contribute Tongwang's strength to the construction of a society ruled by law.
