On the morning of July 26, Yu Kun, partner and director of the Finance, Tax and Legal Affairs Department of Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm, was invited by the Chengzhong District Taxation Bureau of Liuzhou City to conduct a special legal knowledge lecture on "Public Interest Litigation System and Tax Administrative Law Enforcement". More than 40 leaders and representatives from various departments of the Chengzhong District Taxation Bureau participated.
In the lecture, Lawyer Yu Kun first introduced the basic knowledge of public interest litigation by focusing on the connotation and specific system of public interest litigation; then, based on legal provisions, he explained the legal consequences of administrative public interest litigation, allowing everyone to have a further understanding of administrative public interest litigation; finally, he started with classic tax administrative public interest litigation cases, combined with the results of several tax-related administrative public interest litigations in Guangxi in recent years, and from the perspective of different parties involved, he suggested areas where tax-related administrative public interest litigations are likely to occur from various aspects, and combined with his own work experience, he provided detailed answers to the staff of the tax authorities on the ideas and procedures for dealing with tax administrative public interest litigations.
After the lecture, the leaders of the Chengzhong District Taxation Bureau highly affirmed Lawyer Yu Kun's professional explanation, and expressed their hope that all cadres and employees of the bureau would improve their awareness of the rule of law, adapt to the constantly improving internal and external supervision environment, and strive to enhance their ability and level of performing their duties in accordance with the law.
