On May 30th, Wu Jing, senior partner and deputy director of our firm, was invited by Nanning Locomotive Depot of China Railway Nanning Bureau Group Co., Ltd. to conduct a special lecture on "'Code' Brightens Life - The Civil Code Around Me." Employees from various locomotive depots participated in the study synchronously through the online system.
In this lecture, Wu Jing, from the perspective of a professional lawyer, pointed out the highlights of the legal provisions that are different from the previous legal provisions after the promulgation and implementation of the Civil Code. She provided a comprehensive and systematic analysis and explanation of legal issues closely related to daily life, such as the effectiveness, invalidity, and pending validity of contracts, loan slips and receipts, economic exchanges and repayments in love, "joint debt and joint signature" of spousal debts, division of divorce property, gratuitous rides, and objects falling from high altitudes. She analyzed the legal application of relevant social issues in a simple and easy-to-understand manner, clarified the principles with the law, conducted in-depth interpretation of the relevant clauses in the Civil Code in combination with reality, and analyzed the legal issues encountered in life through typical cases, putting forward her own opinions and suggestions from the perspective of a lawyer.
This lecture was fully affirmed by the employees present, who said that Wu Jing's interpretation of the legal provisions fits social hotspots, is based on life practice, and is novel and close to reality, which has enabled everyone to have a deeper understanding and understanding of the relevant provisions of the Civil Code, which will be beneficial to future work and life.
