From April 18th to 19th, 2023, the 2023 Lawyers Forum of the six provinces (regions) in Central and Southern China was held in Nanning, Guangxi. With the theme of "Opportunity & Development & Leap—Implementing the Spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party & Promoting High-Quality Development of Lawyers' Work", this forum set up three sub-forums: Application of Big Data Era and the Civil Code, Enterprise Criminal Compliance and Lawyer Legal Services, RCEP and Foreign-related Legal Services. More than 300 lawyer representatives from the six provinces (regions) of Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, and Hainan gathered together to discuss the frontier and hot issues of the lawyer industry and jointly seek high-quality development strategies for the lawyer industry in the new era, focusing on the development of the lawyer industry and the growth of lawyers under the new situation and the theme of the sub-forums.
Wang Dezheng, a lawyer from the Liuzhou Office of Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm, won the first prize for his paper "Research on the Protection of Privacy Rights in the Non-Intelligent Dilemma of Smart Cities" and was included in the forum's collection of papers. It demonstrates Tongwang lawyers' close attention to industry hotspots and in-depth research on professional theories.
