On the afternoon of April 4, 2023, the First Party Branch and the Young Lawyers Committee of Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm, together with the Party General Branch of Jicun, Xingdong Street, Xingning District, Nanning City (hereinafter referred to as Jicun), jointly carried out the theme party day activity of "Party Building Leads, Rule of Law Escorts, Tongwang Lawyers Provide Legal Assistance to Rural Revitalization". Xiong Wei, Secretary of the First Party Branch, Huang Weilun, Director of the Young Lawyers Committee, Xu Xiaoye, Deputy Director, and lawyers and intern lawyers such as Huang Xuni, Li Hankao, and He Xiaochou, Li Yuanming, Secretary of the Jicun Party General Branch, Li Ruiming, Deputy Secretary, and Song Ji, Quan Hailing, Huang Jieying and other members of the General Branch participated in this activity.
With "Rural Revitalization" becoming a national development strategy under the new situation, how should lawyers provide legal services? This is the topic explored in this theme party day activity.
The activity started with a symposium, where participants discussed issues related to the formulation, implementation, and dispute resolution mechanisms of village rules and regulations, land management rights, homestead use rights, land planning and utilization, as well as dispute resolution approaches.
After the symposium, the party member lawyers distributed legal publicity materials to the villagers for free in the village committee square, provided free legal consultation, and answered questions raised by the villagers, which achieved good results.
Secretary Li Yuanming stated that this activity is a rare legal education opportunity for the Jicun Village Committee and villagers. He hopes that the party member lawyers of Tongwang Law Firm will continue to leverage their professional advantages and hold more such activities to do practical things, accomplish things, and do good things for the villagers.
Through this co-construction, both parties not only conducted in-depth exchanges on the dispute resolution approaches for traditional existing legal disputes, but more importantly, initiated extensive thinking on the model of assisting the incremental development of the rural economy. Both parties agreed that in the future, they should continue to promote the leading role of party building, give full play to the political and professional advantages of party member lawyers, and escort the high-quality development of the "Rural Revitalization" cause.
