On December 10-11, 2022, in the warm winter sun, Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm held an enlarged joint meeting on the construction of the law firm's leadership team and related work. More than 50 people attended the meeting, including members of the Tongwang Law Firm's Party General Branch and three Party Branch leadership teams, members of the Administrative Management Committee, heads of the Supervisory Committee, Advisory Committee, Youth Committee, and various professional departments, representatives of lawyers and intern lawyers, and members of the Tongwang Liuzhou Office, Qinzhou Office, and Wuzhou Office leadership teams.

The background and theme of this meeting are to plan and make corresponding adjustments to the future management, construction, and development of Tongwang Law Firm based on the major changes in the current economic and social development situation in China and the post-epidemic era. The main contents and agenda of the meeting include: First, to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China; second, to review, analyze, and summarize the operation and existing problems of Tongwang Law Firm in the "four modernizations construction" of scale, specialization, standardization, and branding; third, to discuss how to further leverage the leading role of Party building and promote the closer integration of Party building work with the work of the firm to promote the "four modernizations construction" of Tongwang Law Firm; fourth, to discuss how to strengthen the training of young lawyers in the firm and help them grow, so that young lawyers can quickly integrate into the culture, construction, and development of the firm; fifth, to discuss how to fully leverage the existing platforms of Tongwang Law Firm, such as the Tongwang Applied Jurisprudence Research Institute, member unit of the Guangxi Characteristic New Think Tank Alliance, legislative consultation service base of the Standing Committee of the Autonomous Region People's Congress and the Nanning Municipal People's Congress, continuing education and training base for lawyers in the region of the Guangxi Lawyers Association, law education practice base of Guangxi University and other universities, theoretical research base of the United Front Work Department of the Nanning Municipal Party Committee, and director unit of the Nanning Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance, to better serve the central work and economic and social development of Guangxi; sixth, to discuss how the Party building work, administrative management, and team building of Tongwang Law Firm should be better improved and enhanced in the post-epidemic era, as well as matters such as the construction of the firm's partner team and infrastructure construction.

The meeting was presided over by Huang Qiangguang, Secretary of the Party General Branch and Director of the law firm. He emphasized that to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, members of the Tongwang Party organization leadership team should set an example in truly learning, truly understanding, and truly applying; the "five firmly grasps" proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping when participating in the discussion of the Guangxi delegation to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China on October 17 this year provide an important guide for us to study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and we must effectively grasp the worldview and methodology of Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, and adhere to and apply the positions, viewpoints, and methods that run through it; the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clarified the mission and tasks of the Party in the new era and new journey, issued a mobilization order to comprehensively build a socialist modern country and comprehensively promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and proposed to "comprehensively build a socialist modern country on the path of the rule of law." We must find the combination point between the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the management of the law firm and the work of lawyers, and constantly work hard on implementation, make articles on practical work, seek breakthroughs in innovation, and contribute to the construction of a rule of law China.

The participants expressed that they will continue to thoroughly study and understand the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, adhere to the correct direction of lawyer work, further enhance professionalism, strengthen confidence, unite and cooperate, work hard and forge ahead, implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China into all lawyer work, and contribute lawyer strength and practice lawyer responsibility to comprehensively build a socialist modern country and comprehensively promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The participants also made speeches on other topics on the meeting agenda one by one, expressing their opinions and suggestions.

At the end of the meeting, Huang Qiangguang, Secretary of the Party General Branch and Director of the law firm, made a concluding speech. He pointed out that with the joint efforts of the participants, the meeting was a complete success and reached many consensuses, which will provide guidance for the future work of Tongwang Law Firm; opportunities and challenges coexist, and if you don't advance, you will retreat. Tongwang Law Firm has experienced four reforms since its establishment in 1996, and this will be the fifth reform; the construction and reform of the firm should be planned, designed, and implemented around the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and based on the firm's philosophy of "unity of purpose and living up to expectations," pooling wisdom, unifying thinking, and acting in unison to strive to write a new chapter in lawyer work on the new journey.
