On the afternoon of May 6, 2022, Chen Zhen and Wu Jing, deputy director and senior partner of this firm, were invited by the consultant unit Nanning Municipal Engineering Group to conduct a special lecture on legal knowledge of engineering project bidding and criminal legal risks involved in the bidding process.

This special lecture was given by Chen Zhen, who used the typical cases jointly released by the National Supervisory Commission and the Supreme People's Procuratorate for the first time as a starting point. Combining the relevant legal provisions of the Bidding Law, Chen Zhen sorted out the common criminal legal risks of construction companies in construction bidding activities, and combined with cases and years of experience in handling cases, analyzed and explained the specific problems of construction engineering enterprises and their employees in construction bidding activities, and put forward practical and feasible risk prevention and control suggestions.
Chen Zhen emphasized that, for enterprises, the focus of criminal legal risk is prevention. Enterprises and their employees should have legal awareness, rule awareness, procedural awareness, evidence awareness, and crisis awareness, carry out risk prevention and control from multiple perspectives, and formulate effective compliance management systems to ensure the steady development of enterprises.
Finally, Chen Zhen and Wu Jing put forward relevant prevention and resolution suggestions based on judicial practice for the questions raised by the participants in the on-site interactive session, which are highly targeted and guiding.

This lecture enhanced the legal awareness and risk prevention awareness of enterprise employees, and at the same time, it also played a positive role in promoting the standardization of engineering construction bidding activities and strengthening the supervision and management of bidding activities. The participants said that they benefited a lot.
