In order to effectively implement the annual work plan for legal services for police officers and effectively promote public legal services involving the police, on May 21, 2021, the Guangxi Police Association Public Security Police Legal Service Center Workstation (hereinafter referred to as the workstation) held a mid-year work conference in the conference room of Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm. Li Aimin, Secretary-General of Guangxi Police Association, Tang Wei, Deputy Secretary-General, Lu Yougeng, Director of Human Resources Department, Huang Yuhua, Director of Expert Advisory Committee of Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm, Huang Wenxin, Chen Zhen, Lu Yuzhong, Deputy Directors of the Management Committee, and Xu Xiaoye, partner, and many other lawyers from the workstation attended the meeting.

Since its establishment in Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm on June 18, 2016, 26 employed resident lawyers of Tongwang Law Firm have been providing legal services to members of the Guangxi Police Association for a long time, answering more than 300 legal consultations and handling 14 various police-related litigation and non-litigation cases. The resident lawyers have been invited to give special lectures on law enforcement rights protection, law enforcement risk prevention, and standardized law enforcement construction for police officers for many times, and have participated in special investigations organized by relevant departments of the Autonomous Region Public Security Department for many times. The special report on the protection of the rights of Guangxi police officers has been highly valued by the leaders of the Autonomous Region Public Security Department, and the Special Research Report on the Work of Protecting the Rights and Interests of Public Security Police Officers in Law Enforcement was published on the National Public Security Supervision Network. In addition, the resident lawyers participated in the compilation of the Guangxi Public Security Organs Police Rights Protection Handbook organized by the Autonomous Region Public Security Department, which was completed in January 2021 and distributed to public security organs in Guangxi, further promoting the work of safeguarding the authority of police law enforcement.

Li Aimin, Secretary-General of Guangxi Police Association, fully affirmed the work achievements of the workstation. Tang Wei, Deputy Secretary-General of Guangxi Police Association, and Lu Yougeng, Director of Human Resources Department of Guangxi Police Association, put forward constructive suggestions and optimization opinions on the next work direction and service measures of the workstation. The two sides had full and warm communication and discussion on how to continue to deepen cooperation and solidly promote the practical application of integrated media and micro-videos in police rights protection and police legal service work.
