On the morning of October 22, 2020, Chen Zhen, partner and deputy director of the Criminal Department of Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm, conducted a lively legal lecture at Shangsi County National Middle School. Yuan Zongliang, secretary of the Party Branch and principal of Shangsi County National Middle School, vice principals Wang Tai and Lu Xiongguang, and more than 800 teachers and students participated in the lecture. The lecture was divided into two legal topics: "Campus Bullying" and "Minor Protection Law".
In the special lecture on "Healthy and Happy Growth, Rejecting Campus Bullying", Chen Zhen explained "What is campus bullying", "How to deal with campus bullying" and "How to prevent campus bullying" to the students through a combination of small cases and laws.
In the special lecture on "Protecting Yourself with the Law -《Minor Protection Law》", in addition to introducing the main contents of the 《Minor Protection Law》, Chen Zhen also put forward many effective and practical suggestions on how minors can prevent getting lost and abducted, and how to prevent sexual assault.
At the end of the lecture, Principal Yuan Zongliang made a concluding speech. Principal Yuan made requests to all students, hoping that everyone will continue to study, abide by, and use the law to enhance their awareness of the legal system; consciously resist bad behaviors and criminal behaviors, abide by discipline and law, and act rationally; establish lofty ideals and correct outlook on life, values, and world; practice the core socialist values and develop good qualities of learning, understanding, and abiding by the law.
Through this lecture, the teachers and students of the school not only had a certain understanding of campus bullying and the 《Minor Protection Law》, but also learned how to correctly deal with campus bullying and improved their legal awareness of self-protection. Wang Tai, the vice principal in charge of moral education in the school, said that he is very grateful to Chen Zhen for bringing a vivid legal education lecture to the teachers and students, and the school will continue to work hard to do a good job in the legal education of students.
