On the evening of October 19, 2020, the Criminal Department of Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm held an internal case discussion meeting. The meeting was presided over by Chen Zhen, Deputy Director of the Criminal Department. Huang Yuhua and Huang Wenxin, Deputy Directors of the firm's Management Committee, were specially invited to provide comments. More than ten lawyers from the Criminal Department, as well as the family members of Huang Moumou, attended the meeting. The theme of this discussion was the defense strategy for cases of bribery by non-state employees.
The discussion used the case of Huang Moumou, suspected of accepting bribes as a non-state employee, as an example. First, Chen Zhen, as the lead lawyer, sorted out and introduced the case. Then, the participating lawyers freely asked questions and discussed the case, expressing opinions from the perspectives of the prosecution, the law, and the legal profession. Finally, Huang Yuhua, Executive Deputy Director of Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm, summarized the defense strategies and key points of the case.
