On September 21, 2020, Chen Yi, Deputy Director of Guangxi Tongwang (Qinzhou) Law Firm, was invited by the Qinzhou Pilot Station of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Port Authority to conduct a special lecture on "How the Civil Code Affects and Regulates Everyone's Life." More than 40 leaders and staff of Qinzhou Pilot Station participated in the lecture.
The "Civil Code" is extremely rich in content, regulating everyone's birth, aging, illness, death, food, clothing, housing, transportation, economic activities, and so on. In this lecture, Chen Yi selected the provisions in the "Civil Code" that are newly added to the current laws and closely related to the lives of ordinary people. By introducing vivid examples and combining humorous and easy-to-understand language, she vividly and appropriately analyzed how the "Civil Code" will affect and regulate the lives of each of us. At the same time, she gave specific reminders and put forward feasible suggestions on how to abide by and make good use of the relevant provisions of the "Civil Code."
The atmosphere of the lecture was focused and active. The participants said that the lecture was wonderful and down-to-earth, full of life, and well explained the practical significance of the "Civil Code" as an "encyclopedia of social life."
