Tongwang Dynamics: Lawyer Lin Lei Invited to Share Knowledge of Health Laws and Regulations for Qinzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital

On January 25, 2024, Lawyer Lin Lei from Guangxi Tongwang (Qinzhou) Law Firm was invited to share knowledge of health laws and regulations for Qinzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital.
Starting from the allusion of 'Three Laws,' and through the comparison of ancient and modern laws, Lawyer Lin Lei explained the importance and necessity of informed consent and obtaining patient consent from the perspective of 'reasons for preclusion,' to the medical staff attending the meeting. He also discussed issues such as informed consent after the patient leaves the hospital on their own, patients bringing their own medications into the hospital, the risks and responses to patients refusing examinations and transfers, or disrupting medical order, with the participants in the training. At the same time, Lawyer Lin Lei also shared how medical staff should identify and handle medical disputes when facing them, and how to avoid risks in doctor-patient communication.
In addition, in response to the frequent occurrence of medical disturbances, Lawyer Lin Lei focused on explaining 'legitimate defense' and Qinzhou's relevant regulations on the prevention and handling of medical disputes and the regulations on reporting to the police for medical staff. This sharing session was divided into two sessions, morning and afternoon, with approximately 1000 participants. The sharing session had an active and harmonious atmosphere and achieved good results.
