Recently, the Ministry of Justice issued the "Decision on Commending Advanced Collectives and Individuals in National Legal Aid and Public Legal Service Work", commending 270 national advanced legal aid collectives and 424 advanced individuals, 723 national advanced public legal service collectives and 964 advanced individuals. Among them, Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm was awarded the title of "National Advanced Collective for Public Legal Service Work"; Huang Jianjun, director of Tongwang's Wuzhou Office, was awarded the title of "National Advanced Individual for Public Legal Service Work".

In July 2019, the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the State Council issued the "Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of a Public Legal Service System." In terms of serving the party committee, the people's congress, and the government in making decisions according to law, one lawyer from Tongwang Law Firm has been hired as a consultant expert of the Decision-making Advisory Committee of the Autonomous Region; one lawyer serves as a member of the CPPCC of the Autonomous Region; and one lawyer serves as a grassroots people's congress representative.
In terms of serving local legislation, three lawyers from Tongwang Law Firm serve as legislative expert consultants of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of the Autonomous Region. In May 2018, the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of the Autonomous Region approved the establishment of the Guangxi Local Legislation Research, Evaluation and Consulting Service Base in Tongwang Law Firm, which is the first and currently the only local legislation research, evaluation and consulting service base established by the provincial people's congress in a law firm in China. Tongwang Legislative Service Base has successively undertaken 6 local legislative service projects such as the "Regulations on the Supervision and Management of State-owned Assets of Enterprises in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region", the "Regulations on the Protection of Beaches in Beihai City" and the "Measures of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for the Implementation of the Land Management Law of the People's Republic of China (Revised)"; assisted the Legislative Affairs Commission of the People's Congress of the Autonomous Region in comprehensively reviewing the constitutionality, legality, appropriateness and rationality of more than 100 local laws and regulations and government regulations in cities with districts such as Nanning and Guilin and issued written review opinions; independently completed the "How to Improve the Legal System of the Business Environment in Our Region", "How Cities with Districts Should Grasp the Constituent Elements, Characteristics and Laws of Urban and Rural Construction and Management Legislation", "The Space and Main Measures for Cities with Districts to Prevent and Investigate Illegal Construction Legislation" and "Research on Relevant Issues of the Regulations on Property Management of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (Revised Draft)" and other 7 legislative research projects entrusted by the Legislative Affairs Commission of the People's Congress of the Autonomous Region.

In terms of serving the government's administration according to law, more than 20 lawyers from Tongwang Law Firm serve as the perennial legal counsel for more than 30 government agencies, including the People's Government of the Autonomous Region, the People's Government of Nanning City, the People's Government of Qinzhou City, the Department of Justice of the Autonomous Region, the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the Bureau of Statistics, the People's Government of Luocheng Mulao Autonomous County, and the People's Government of Shatang Town, Liubei District, Liuzhou City.
In terms of serving enterprises, Tongwang Law Firm currently serves as the perennial legal counsel for nearly 300 enterprises of various types, including PetroChina Guangxi Company, China Telecom Guangxi Company, Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Company, Guangxi Rural Investment Group, State Power Investment Group Guangxi Changzhou Hydropower Development Company, Guotou Group Qinzhou Power Generation Company, and Jinchuan Group Guangxi Jinchuan Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. and other more than 80 large and medium-sized enterprises.
In terms of think tank construction, Guangxi Tongwang Applied Jurisprudence Research Institute, initiated and founded by Tongwang Law Firm in 2016, became a formal member of the "Guangxi Characteristic New Think Tank Alliance" officially established by the Autonomous Region in 2018.

In March 2016, Tongwang Law Firm invested in the establishment of Guangxi's first public welfare professional institution focusing on marriage and family legal services - "Guangxi Tongwang Marriage and Family Legal Service Center", dedicated to maintaining family harmony and the legitimate rights and interests of women and children, and has service stations in Nanning, Liuzhou, Qinzhou and Wuzhou respectively. A total of 8 lawyers from Tongwang Law Firm, including Ou Min, have been hired as experts in the Guangxi Marriage and Family Dispute Mediation Expert Database. They have participated in relevant activities such as the "Women's Petition Window" symposium for many times; held legal knowledge lectures on women's rights and interests on "Embracing a Happy Life"; and were invited to participate in the "Guangxi White Ribbon Lecturer Group" and gave the first lesson. In the process of building Guangxi's first large-scale elderly care service PPP demonstration project in Nanning No. 2 Social Welfare Institute, the legal services such as project negotiation, drafting and review of cooperation contracts, and project financing scheme design were provided by Tongwang lawyers.
According to incomplete statistics, in 2019, Tongwang Law Firm sent lawyers to be on duty at the legal aid center in the city where it is located for 95 times; and handled 143 legal aid cases.
Promoting the rule of law through education and professional services, reaching schools, grassroots organizations, and villages.
Tongwang Law Firm is a participating implementation unit of the 'Outstanding Legal Talent Education and Training Program' formulated by the Ministry of Education and the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission; the 'Guangxi University Master of Laws Postgraduate Practical Skills Joint Training Base' approved by the Education Department and Academic Degree Committee of the Autonomous Region; and a 'Legal Education Practice Base' for Guangxi University, Guangxi Normal University, and other universities. Over the past 10 years, Tongwang Law Firm has devoted a significant amount of time, energy, and financial resources to the construction and operation of these bases/projects. Tongwang Law Firm also serves as the year-round legal counsel for various schools such as Guangxi University of Finance and Economics, Guangxi Vocational and Technical College, Nanning No. 33 Middle School, and Nanning Zhuoli Experimental School, and giving lectures on legal knowledge to students is exactly what the consultant lawyers do. Huang Jianjun, who was awarded the title of 'National Advanced Individual in Public Legal Services,' serves as the rule of law vice-principal of Wuzhou No. 15 Middle School and has participated in student legal education activities many times.

Promoting the rule of law and providing services to grassroots organizations and villages has been a long-standing commitment of Tongwang people.
From 2017 to 2019, Tongwang lawyers held a total of 159 special lectures or training sessions on various legal practices for government departments, enterprises, and institutions, with a cumulative total of over 8,000 attendees.
In 2017, Tongwang Law Firm cooperated with the Guangxi Police Association to establish the Guangxi Police Association Public Security Police Legal Service Center Workstation (Nanning) and the Guangxi Police Association Public Security Police Legal Service Center Guangxi Coast Guard Second Detachment Workstation (Fangchenggang City). Tongwang Law Firm has stationed as many as 38 lawyers in the two stations. Over the past three years, the stationed lawyers have answered nearly 500 legal consultations from police officers; held 18 special training sessions on topics such as the protection of police officers' law enforcement rights and the application of laws in law enforcement; and handled 20 police-related cases free of charge.

For nearly 10 years, Tongwang's Liuzhou office has served as the year-round legal counsel for Guizhong Prison and Liucheng Prison, holding at least one legal lecture for inmates each year. The lawyers from Tongwang's Nanning office go to the Guangxi Women's Prison every two months to provide free legal advice to help inmates rehabilitate, which they have been doing for more than three years.
Tongwang people actively respond to the 'One Village, One Legal Advisor' system, undeterred by high mountains and long distances. Currently, a total of 33 lawyers from the firm's four offices are providing 'One Village, One Legal Advisor' legal services in more than 60 villages. The five most remote villages are located in Pingtang and Jiuzhou Townships in Tianlin County, at the intersection of the three provinces of Yunnan, Guizhou, and Guangxi, 500 kilometers away from Nanning.

Regarding Tongwang Law Firm's public interest legal services, the 'Tongwang Intellectual Property Public Interest Tour' must be mentioned. In order to implement the Autonomous Region People's Government's 'Opinions on Deeply Implementing the Trademark Brand Strategy' which defines the work of 'Strengthening Enterprises with Trademarks' and 'Enriching Farmers with Trademarks', the Tongwang Intellectual Property Legal Affairs Team, led by Zhang Xiangyu, a young and middle-aged expert in Guangxi intellectual property who was selected as one of the 'Top Ten Intellectual Property Trial Cases in Guangxi' for representing the 'Qianye Cooling Tea Trademark Infringement Dispute Case' and the 'Rum Patent Ownership Dispute Case', launched the 'Tongwang Intellectual Property Public Interest Tour, Free Trademark Registration to the Countryside' public interest activity in October 2019, which will take about two years to enter characteristic agricultural counties, townships, and villages to provide free agency trademark registration application services for the implementation of the trademark brand strategy for agriculture, rural areas, and farmers in Guangxi.
The Tongwang Intellectual Property Public Interest Tour team provides fruit farmers with trademark registration application, use, management, and protection consulting services in Rong County (Qianqiu Village), the origin of the national geographical indication protection product Shatien grapefruit.
Free online and offline legal consultation, serving thousands of households
Since 2004, Tongwang Law Firm has been providing a free legal service hotline, providing more than 20,000 legal consultations to the public.
In the past three years, Tongwang Law Firm has organized lawyers to the Autonomous Region High People's Court, the Autonomous Region Bureau of Letters and Calls, the Nanning Women's Federation, and the Nanning Federation of Trade Unions to participate in handling legal letters and visits, free consultation, and mediation work for a cumulative total of more than 130 people; assigned Chen Zhen, Li Caifeng, and other lawyers as resident lawyers of 12348 'China Law Network' and 'Guangxi Law Network' to regularly answer legal consultations on the public legal service platform.
