Recently, the Guangxi Anti-Monopoly Expert Database was established, and Huang Junlin, a lawyer from our firm, was appointed as one of the first Guangxi anti-monopoly experts.
In recent years, the state has continuously increased its efforts in anti-monopoly work to promote the construction of a unified large market. In 2021, the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the State Council jointly issued the 'Opinions on Strengthening Anti-Monopoly and Deepening the Implementation of Fair Competition Policies'; in June 2022, the 'Anti-Monopoly Law' was revised by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and implemented on August 1, raising the requirements and standards for anti-monopoly work.
In order to further enhance the scientific and professional level of anti-monopoly law enforcement in Guangxi, and to improve the effectiveness of anti-monopoly work in the region, the Guangxi Market Supervision Administration established the first batch of Guangxi Anti-Monopoly Expert Database. To ensure the professionalism and authority of the expert database, the Guangxi Market Supervision Administration collected and selected experts from judicial departments, research institutions, universities, law firms, and other industries and institutions nationwide, and finally selected 22 experts, including Tang Zheng, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Guangxi Department of Justice, to join the database. The term of office for the first batch of experts is 3 years, and they will provide services such as demonstrating anti-monopoly law enforcement cases, consulting on important competition policy matters, conducting key research projects, evaluating market competition conditions, assisting in supporting fair competition review work, and assisting in publicity and training for Guangxi.
