Recently, the pre-litigation service center for the rights and interests of employees in the park, jointly established by the Wanzhou District People's Court of Wuzhou City, Guangxi Tongwang (Wuzhou) Law Firm, the Municipal Labor and Personnel Dispute Arbitration Court, the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, and the High-tech Zone Management Committee, has been launched. The service center integrates dispute mediation, policy publicity, and legal aid, and actively explores a diversified pre-litigation mediation mechanism of joint construction of a "mediation alliance", co-assistance of "legal aid", and long-term residence of professional lawyers.
The mediation team learned about the situation from both parties at the first meeting.
"Thank you to the pre-litigation mediation team. I didn't expect that the remuneration that had been delayed for a whole year could be obtained in such a short period of time. Thank you so much!" Mr. Hu said excitedly. This case is the first case handled since the establishment of the pre-litigation service center. During the Spring Festival of 2021, Mr. Hu and 27 other laborers undertook greening and cleaning work for a company in the park, agreeing on a labor cost of more than 250,000 yuan, but after the completion of the work, the company refused to pay the amount on the grounds that the amount was inconsistent with the agreement. After investigation, it was learned that the 27 laborers had reached an oral agreement with the company's temporary project team. After the cleaning work was completed, the temporary project team was dissolved. The laborers and the company had a large disagreement on the amount of remuneration when settling the payment, and the two parties were unable to reach an agreement after more than a year.

After the mediation team grasped the situation, it quickly sent letters to several units in the industry to understand the range of labor remuneration for the same type of greening and cleaning work. Huang Xueying and Zhang Bo, lawyers from Guangxi Tongwang (Wuzhou) Law Firm, participated in the mediation of this case. After explaining the law and reasoning, the parties finally reached a consistent mediation plan, and the demands of the 27 laborers were properly resolved.
