Faced with an increasing number of similar case resources, how can one effectively obtain the required information with minimal time and effort? This necessitates basic retrieval skills. To address this, Attorney Hou Jianlin presented a study on the "Three-Step Method of Efficient Retrieval." Attorney Hou explained the three aspects of the retrieval system—case fact梳理 (case fact analysis), the specific retrieval process, and the presentation of retrieval results—guiding participants through practical exercises, on-site demonstrations, and interactive discussions to experience efficient retrieval methods.

Following this, Attorney Huang Qixin expanded on the lecture and exchange regarding "Thinking and Expression in Criminal Defense." Using real-world cases as examples, Attorney Huang introduced a three-step mental approach to criminal defense: 辩 of fact (argument of fact), 辩 of conviction (argument of conviction), and 辩 of sentencing (argument of sentencing). Employing mind maps, he thoroughly explained how to utilize criminal defense thinking to ensure a well-organized defense strategy. Drawing upon years of experience, he passionately shared insights on effective criminal defense expression.
