On the evening of March 29, Guangxi Tongwang (Wuzhou) Law Firm held a lawyer warning education conference and a special study session on Xi Jinping's Thought on the Rule of Law, Party History, and Lawyer Practice Discipline and Professional Ethics Education. Director Huang Jianjun pointed out in the meeting that lawyers of Guangxi Tongwang (Wuzhou) Law Firm should adhere to Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as their guide, thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping's Thought on the Rule of Law, deeply grasp the essence, spirit, and practical requirements of Xi Jinping's Thought on the Rule of Law, effectively promote Xi Jinping's Thought on the Rule of Law to be internalized and ingrained in the mind, and strengthen the ideological and political construction of the lawyer team and the awareness of practicing law in accordance with laws and regulations and with integrity. Director Huang Jianjun put forward opinions on how the law firm should strengthen its basic management, implement the main responsibility of the firm, and expand its business in the post-epidemic era. He put forward clear requirements from the aspects of correcting the concept of practice, strengthening compliance awareness, giving play to the leading role of the branch, strengthening disciplinary warnings, and improving self-discipline awareness and service quality. He also stated that lawyers should abide by professional ethics, adhere to the ethical bottom line of lawyers, actively learn from advanced typical demonstrations, standardize practice, and serve with integrity, and actively create a clean and upright atmosphere within the firm to establish a good social image of the lawyer team.
Through this meeting, all the lawyers in the firm clarified the spirit of the relevant meeting, based on relevant laws, regulations, and industry regulations such as the Constitution, the Lawyers Law, the Measures for the Administration of Lawyers Practice, and the Code of Professional Ethics and Practice Discipline for Lawyers, combined with the actual work, adhered to the leadership of Party building, maintained forward-looking thinking and political sensitivity, and laid a solid foundation for the next step of work.
