Recently, at the invitation of Guangxi Agricultural Radio and Television School, Chen Zhen, a lawyer from Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm and a member of the Lawyer Service Group for Private Enterprises in the Autonomous Region, conducted a course on "Contract Risk Prevention for Agricultural Enterprises" through online live broadcast. Through case teaching, she introduced the legal risks that agricultural enterprises may encounter in the process of drafting, signing, and performing contracts to the students, and put forward effective suggestions on how to prevent risks and resolve disputes. Nearly a thousand students watched the online live broadcast that day.

Huang, a student from Liangqing District, Nanning City, also attended the lecture via mobile phone live broadcast. He happened to encounter a sales contract dispute in the process of selling Wogan oranges not long ago. At the beginning of the year, he signed a Wogan orange sales contract with a fruit merchant, but during the performance of the contract, the two parties had disputes over the quality of the Wogan oranges and other performance matters, which led to the contract being unable to continue to be performed. The fruit merchant sued him to the court, demanding compensation of 100,000 yuan for breach of contract. At this time, there was less than a week left before the court hearing. After class, Huang immediately contacted Chen Zhen for consultation. Chen Zhen analyzed the case, evidence materials, and relevant laws and regulations one by one, and provided him with an effective response plan. He entrusted Chen Zhen as the litigation agent to appear in court to respond to the lawsuit. In the end, the court pronounced the verdict in court, ruling that the fruit farmer won the case and did not need to bear the liability for breach of contract.
Chen Zhen said that disputes similar to Huang's are common, mainly due to the contract being not standardized and not perfect enough. If the fruit farmer students and fruit merchants in this case can clearly agree on the quality of the fruit, the rights and obligations of both parties, and the liability for breach of contract at the beginning of signing the agreement, and can negotiate in accordance with the law after the dispute arises, many contradictions and disputes can be reduced. It is recommended that everyone make good use of the law in production and business activities in the future to protect their own rights and interests.
