In order to effectively solve the impact of the current epidemic prevention and control on the cost of construction projects, reduce project settlement disputes, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of all parties involved in construction, on February 21, the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the Autonomous Region issued the "Guiding Opinions on Construction Project Pricing during the COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control Period (Gui Jian Fa [2020] No. 1)", which put forward relevant guiding opinions on the pricing of housing construction and municipal infrastructure projects in our region during the epidemic prevention and control period. On January 30, the Guangxi Lawyers Association COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control Work Special Legal Service Group, composed of 172 practicing lawyers, was established to undertake the publicity of relevant laws and regulations such as the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases" and the "Regulations on Emergency Response to Public Health Emergencies"; participate in the evaluation or agency of legal and litigation cases that have occurred or may occur in the epidemic prevention and control work in our region; participate in the resolution of relevant contradictions and disputes, and provide legal advice for the party committee and government's epidemic prevention and control-related decisions; provide relevant legal advice to relevant institutions and the people free of charge, and undertake other work assigned by the Guangxi Lawyers Association. As of the current date, Tongwang's lawyers have answered legal questions for more than 330 enterprises and other economic organizations through the Internet, telephone, WeChat, and other means. They have cumulatively compiled and distributed 57 articles on the publicity of laws and regulations related to epidemic prevention and control for relevant enterprises and other economic organizations, including advisory units. On February 7, the Guangxi International Chamber of Commerce established a legal expert advisory committee to address the adverse effects of the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic on Guangxi enterprises' international and domestic trade and investment.
